On their own, wine and cheese are delicious but when you pair them together amazing things can happen. Learning about how to pair these artisanal products doesn’t need to be intimidating. They are traditionally made, both fermented and aged and complement one another in many ways. Join us for a fun, approachable and interactive class exploring a selection of wine, cheese and accompaniments.
CAPS Certified Sommelier and Fanshawe Instructor, Christie Pollard, will lead you through tasting 4 wines, paired with cheeses and accompaniments to begin to understand the fundamentals of how wine and food work together.
Format: Guided tasting and introduction to sensory evaluation
Beverages: Four X 2 oz. tastings of unique, carefully selected wines
Includes: Cheese, charcuteries and other accompaniments for each wine selection
Bottles of wines being served are also available for purchase to take home after the event.
