Join us for a fun, interactive, and meaningful virtual event the whole family can enjoy! On March 28th, 2026, from 4:00–5:30 PM, five passionate Fanshawe College Event Planning students are hosting a family-friendly virtual cooking class in support of the Children’s Health Foundation.
Designed especially for children and their families, this Zoom cooking experience brings everyone together in the kitchen to cook, learn, and connect, all while giving back. Led by a Fanshawe College chef, families will follow along step-by-step to prepare a simple, healthy, and affordable dinner recipe from the comfort of their own homes. A full grocery list will be shared ahead of time, along with easy modifications to suit different dietary needs.
Beyond cooking, the session will include fun and engaging moments to keep kids excited and involved, such as interactive polls and trivia, games, and hands-on participation throughout the class. Along the way, families will also pick up helpful tips about balanced eating and healthy habits, all shared in a way that’s educational, interactive, and kid-approved.
Plus, there will be exciting prizes to be won throughout the event, including Toronto Blue Jays tickets and other family-friendly prizes!
This event is about more than just cooking, it’s about family connection, learning together, giving back to support children’s health, and having a chance to win some amazing prizes.
